West Side Story – Manhattan, the 1950’s, Puerto Rican’s are settling in New York in large numbers following the pressure of large scale unemployment at home. Local gang members, the “Jets”, resent the arrival of the Puerto Rican “Sharks” and a bitter rivalry forms. Out of the chaos of this conflict, a young Jet and Shark meet and fall in love. Will their passion be the flame that ignites the reconciliation of these two communities, or the fire that burns it to the ground? Read more
